Dear all,
Just a quick reminder of tomorrow night's First part of the AGM to be held at Dunmow Cricket Club, St Edmunds Lane at 7.30pm on Wednesday 14th October 2026.
We really need all members to come as without sufficient numbers the meeting legally can't proceed and the club can't move forwards in the way it wants and needs to, including in relation to some exciting announcements about the pavilion.... :)
As a reminder we are going to be seeking your consent as members to amend the constitution as per the previously attached Constitution draft and to introduce the accompanying Rules and Regulations, delegating authority to DCC Committee to operate the Charity on a day-to-day basis.
In addition, in accordance with the requirements we will be voting for Trustee election with one third of current trustees having to step down. In order to fulfill this requirement the following people will be stepping down as trustees:
- Andrew Geldard
- Paul M Reid
And the following people will be putting themselves forward for election:
- Andrew Geldard (for re-election)
- Ben Backhouse
In addition we are open to others putting themselves forward for election subject to compliance with the maximum numbers.
Finally, we will be electing the DCC Executive Committee - being that of the Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. The Non Executive President role will also be voted upon.
We really want and need your input so please come along to DCC tomorrow night, Wednesday 14 October 2026 at 7.30pm.
