Match report A good win for our boys away at Matching Green.

Batting first, we posted a decent 138-5 built around an outstanding knock of 36 retired not out from young Jamie "Rosey".

After losing skipper Oscar for 3 and Aryan, opening for the first time for 7, Rosey and Ollie Nash, in his first start of the season put an excellent 63 for the third wicket, before Ollie was caught and bowled for 17.

Jet (8) and Rosey added 25 for the 5th wicket and Daniel Watson (11 no) and Tom Scanlon (7 no) added useful runs in the latter overs.

The home sides reply was solid without ever gaining major momentum with Dunmow bowling fairly tightly and every time Matching started to build a partnership they were pegged back with a breakthrough.

William Harrison grabbed a wicket and executed a good run out, Daniel bowled well with 1-8 from 3 overs and Aryan took a well deserved caught and bowled for only five runs conceded from his two overs. Everyone made a contribution with Ben keeping well and the boys showed good composure to defend their total. Damien batted well for his 36 retired not out.
