Match report Our Under 12's earned a first win of the season in a 20 over friendly against a young and inexperienced side from Braughing CC.

Dunmow captained for the first time by Jet, won the toss and elected to bat.

Runs were accumulated steadily without ever really getting into any kind of rhythm and aided by a considerable number of wides from the visitors.

Jet and Will both fell for 7 to good catches. Adam and Tom Askew both retired not out for 10 and 9 respectively, as did Tom Scanlon with 3 before Ben G added some late impetus with a quick 11 not out seeing the home side to 95.

Some very accurate opening bowling from Dan Watson and leg spinner Vibha Menon, making her debut restricted Braughing to 7 from the first 4 overs and although Dunmow found it hard to take wickets, they kept runs fairly hard to come by throughout with everyone contributing.

Tom A took a wicket and Adam Clark effected a fine run out as Braughing made it to 60 for the loss of 3 wickets.
