Cricket Week 2021

Our 125th Anniversary Cricket Week

20th August - 30th August 2021

On the 23rd and 24th of August we have our annual Junior Cricket Camp which lasts 2 days, it is open for anyone of the age between 7 and 14. To sign your kids up please contact Paul Reid on paulreid10@talk21.com. On the Tuesday evening we have a charity game in aid of the Daniel Wilkinson Foundation, they've kindly provided a defibrillator for our club, so this game is to raise funds for this amazing charity and to appreciate everything they've done for our club! Following this we hope everyone joins us in the clubhouse for our social darts night.

On the Wednesday we have our bouncy fun event with Evo Inflatables. This is ran throughout the day, the bar will be open and the bbq will be running. For more information, please go to the Evolution Discos facebook page here --> https://www.facebook.com/EvoDJsLtd/ . Following this we have our Hundred game, a Dunmow side will face a select XI with players from different clubs, from Eastons, to Radwinter. Again the bar will be open, we look forward to seeing you down the club.

On Friday 27th June, we have a Quiz night down at Dunmow Cricket Club hosted by the Chairman and Treasurer. Food is included with the entry fee. 19:30 start. To enter your team, contact Nikki on dunmowcctreasurer@yahoo.com. Then on the Saturday (28th) we have a live music night down at St Edmunds Lane. We have two amazing performers who will be performing from 7:30 and the evening is sponsored by Flitch & Chips who will also be joining us and serving their delicious food from 4:30.

To finish off cricket week we have a Bank Holiday Bonanza of fun with a family soft ball tournament in the morning and our very first Women's soft ball cricket and Prosecco festival in the afternoon in conjunction with the fantastic Prosecco Bottle Bar, the only of its kind in the country which will be in attendance.

We will also be joined all day by delicious local food outlets The Little Bagel Box and The Brunch Box as well as CM6 Ices, CM6 Fitness, Thaxted Yoga and have lots of goodies available.

We're committed to women and girls participation in cricket and hope this is the start of something new and special at Dunmow Cricket Club.

Our new CrickFit women’s classes will commence at the club on Monday 13th September and our first Girls coaching classes will take place on Thursday 9th and Friday 24th September and can now be booked here.
